The Dean Forge Sherford 5 Slimline is a contemporary wood burner handmade in Devon, where Dean Forge has built stoves to order for decades. It pairs that craftsmanship with a clean, minimalist form, a shallower yet slightly wider body that suits modern interiors and slots neatly into narrower chimney breasts and shallower fireplace openings.
As a dedicated 5kW wood burner, the Dean Forge Sherford 5 Slimline reaches 81.4% efficiency with an A+ energy rating, and it’s DEFRA exempt for smoke-controlled areas and ClearSkies certified for low emissions. A preheated airwash keeps the large glass door clear, while independent primary, secondary and tertiary air controls give clean, precise and responsive burning throughout the evening.
The wider firebox takes logs up to 400mm for less frequent refuelling. Choose Standard or High legs, from nine colour finishes, with a stainless steel handle and air controls fitted as standard, a premium touch typical of Dean Forge’s contemporary range, with an optional plinth available too.
An optional closed-combustion connection draws air from outside, suiting airtight and new-build homes. Fitted to a non-constructional hearth with top or rear 125mm flue outlets, and backed by a 5-year guarantee, the Dean Forge Sherford 5 Slimline is a refined modern centrepiece.
